Ruthin Festival 2008

Monday, 30 June, Ruthin Festival 2008 will open its doors.
And throughout the week, performances will be held every evening, at different venues in the town.
Some educational and community performances will also be held during the day.

The Highlight

The highlight of the Festival is Top of Town, Saturday 5 of July, 2008 where St Peter's Square will be
completely cordoned off to traffic. The stages on the Square will mean a safe environment for the whole family,
with performers and bands entertaining the crowd well into the evening.

A Week Long Event

Music from different continents have been a part of the Festival during this week long event, from Africa, America, Europe
and much closer to home our own homebred Welsh artists.
If you enjoy classical music, modern, music, instrumentalists, soloists, bands, groups or choirs - Ruthin is the place to be.
There is something here for everyone, from classical concerts to informal evenings over a pint in the local pub - come and enjoy!
